Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the Traumality website, community, Spaces, courses, events and paid memberships. By creating an account, buying something or offering paid content, you agree to them.

You must be at least 18, give accurate account information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity through your account.

Traumality provides documentary, educational and community content. It is not a medical, psychological, legal, financial or emergency service, and nothing on the platform replaces advice from a suitably qualified professional.

Members and course hosts speak for themselves. Traumality does not endorse, verify or guarantee their claims, qualifications, services, outcomes or content unless expressly stated.

You remain responsible for anything you publish, teach, upload or sell. You must own or have permission to use it, describe it honestly, keep it lawful and safe, and avoid infringing privacy, confidentiality or intellectual-property rights.

Course and Space hosts are independent providers, not employees, agents or partners of Traumality Ltd. They are responsible for delivering what they advertise, supporting buyers, and complying with professional, consumer, tax and licensing duties that apply to them.

Paid courses and memberships are processed by Stripe. For host sales, 90% of the listed price is allocated to the host and Traumality Ltd keeps a 10% platform fee. Stripe may separately charge processing, conversion, dispute, refund or payout fees under its own terms.

Hosts must complete Stripe's checks and provide accurate bank, identity and business information. Hosts are responsible for their own tax, records, invoices and declarations. Payout timing and availability are controlled by Stripe and the relevant financial institutions, so Traumality cannot guarantee a particular arrival date.

Traumality may withhold, reverse or recover amounts where reasonably necessary for refunds, chargebacks, suspected fraud, legal obligations, unpaid fees or a breach of these terms.

Membership subscriptions renew at the price and interval shown at checkout until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not normally refund the current billing period.

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, purchases and subscription charges are non-refundable. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights. Where you request immediate access to digital content or services, you acknowledge that any statutory cancellation right may be reduced or lost once supply begins, to the extent the law permits.

We may moderate, suspend or remove accounts, Spaces or content that breach these terms, the Community Guidelines or the law. We may also change or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access, or permanent availability of member-created content.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Traumality Ltd is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss; loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or data; member or host conduct; reliance on educational or community content; or services supplied by Stripe or another third party.

Where liability can lawfully be limited, Traumality Ltd's total liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of £100 or the amount you paid directly to Traumality Ltd through the platform during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

If your unlawful content, misleading sale, infringement, breach of confidentiality or breach of these terms causes a third-party claim or reasonable cost, you agree to reimburse Traumality Ltd to the extent permitted by law and to cooperate in resolving the matter.

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. Scottish courts will have jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
