The Question That Brings Families Home
TRAUMALITY has won the Social Impact Award at the Activist Without Borders Film Festival, and its central question is one that families kept apart are rarely asked.

I'm John Hamel, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of STAR Network, a nonprofit working to break multigenerational cycles of trauma through peer support, education and community, and President of the Family Preservation Alliance. I also volunteer as a court-appointed special advocate for children. My background is in business, not clinical practice. I'm here because Traumality asks a question I care about: what happened to us, and how do we respond with understanding? I look forward to learning from everyone here.
